Applicants hailing from SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories will participate in a Personal Interview as a crucial component of the selection procedure. The number of candidates invited for the interview will be three times the interns intended to be engaged in each term, and this interview will be conducted via video conferencing. A maximum of 30 candidates will be chosen for internships. In the event of any candidate opting out, the subsequent candidate in the merit list from the respective state will be provided with the opportunity.

Successfully chosen candidates will acquire valuable insights into the Ministry’s operations, including its attached offices, public interface, and its significant role in aiding Indian citizens throughout their internship.

Stipend:
Each intern will be granted an honorarium of INR 10,000 per month. The expenses for one-time round-trip air travel, up to the economy class airfare, between the State capital and Delhi will be covered. Interns are expected to manage their own board and lodging in Delhi throughout the internship period.
